Women's Ministries is an opportunity for our church to touch the lives of women by the power of Jesus Christ through outreach, Ministry Groups, and discipleship. Through this exciting ministry, Christian women are touching the world in varied and creative ways. They are reaching beyond personal interests and comfort zones to embrace women of all ages, races, professions, and social standings. They are building an environment for women to mentor women - a place where women can learn, practice biblical love, and feel God's love in a very real way. First Assembly of God's women are on the move! Our women are involved in a wide scope of ministries that are an integral part of The Lord's Church in Shrewsbury. We cordially invite women to become involved.

Women's Ministries Day 2008 - February 24, 2008.
It is a special day at our church when we focus on ministry by and for women in our congregation. The 2008 theme, "Jesus… More Than Enough," is designed to encourage women to believe central truths about our Savior- His grace is enough to redeem" His power is enough to transform, His love is enough to trust; and His presence is enough to satisfy. Acts 17:25 in the New Living Translation tell us, "He himself gives life and breath to everything, and He satisfied every need there is." If we sincerely allow the truth of this verse to penetrate our souls, our lives will be forever changed. Instead of thinking different circumstances will bring fulfillment-we would understand that our Creator, who gives us every breath, is waiting to meet our deepest needs.
Our prayer is for women in our church to grasp this life-changing truth-Jesus is more than enough and only He can satisfy the deepest longings of our soul.

½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper

Preheat oven to 350. Coat 8" square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray
In a medium bowl, beat the heavy cream and eggs for 2 to 3 minutes, or until foamy. Add the remaining ingredients, mix well and pour into baking dish.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cut into squares and serve.
This recipe is OOH SO GOOD! I double it for company and use it as a nice side dish or an appetizer.
